No charge if a tow truck hasn't left for your location yet.

A few simple guidelines to help you understand when a cancellation charge applies.
Cancelling Before Dispatch
If you cancel your towing or roadside assistance request before a truck has been dispatched and left for your location, there is no charge.
Just call our Dispatch team to let us know. We understand that plans can change.
Cancelling After Dispatch
If your tow truck has already left for your location but hasn't arrived yet, a $45 CAD dispatch fee applies.
This helps cover the driver's time, fuel, and travel already committed to your request.
Please contact us as soon as you know you no longer need assistance.
Cancelling After Arrival
If the driver has already arrived at your location, a $75 CAD minimum service charge applies if you cancel.
This covers the completed trip and the time the driver and truck were committed to helping you.
The same $75 charge applies if the driver arrives but cannot reach you, cannot find your vehicle, or cannot access it.
If work has already started, such as loading your vehicle or beginning winching or recovery, the quoted service charge may apply.
How to Cancel a Service
To cancel a request, call our Dispatch team at (587) 434-6866 .
Your cancellation is only confirmed once you have spoken directly with a dispatcher.
Please note: Leaving a voicemail, sending a text message, or making an unanswered call does not confirm a cancellation. If a truck is already on its way, it will continue toward your location until a dispatcher receives your cancellation directly.
If We Cancel Your Service
If Quick Tow and Moving cancels your request or cannot complete the service for a reason on our side, you owe nothing.
If you've already paid, we'll issue a full refund of the amount collected.
If severe weather or unsafe road conditions force a delay, we'll let you know as soon as we're aware and arrange to reschedule your service at no penalty.
Fee Waivers and Charge Reviews
We understand that unexpected situations happen, especially when you're stranded on the road.
At our discretion, we may waive a cancellation fee in certain circumstances, such as:
Medical emergencies, law enforcement directing your vehicle elsewhere, or your vehicle becoming inaccessible through no fault of your own.
If you believe a cancellation fee was charged incorrectly, email us at calgaryquicktow@gmail.com within 30 days of the charge.
We'll review the dispatch record and look into your concern.
Scheduled Moving Jobs and Policy Scope
Scheduled moving jobs are handled separately from emergency towing and roadside assistance.
For a booked moving job, please give us at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled move, or a no-show on moving day, may incur a cancellation fee.
Where this policy applies: This policy covers services requested directly from Quick Tow and Moving, including towing and roadside assistance in Calgary, Airdrie, Chestermere, and nearby communities.
Tows carried out at the direction of a property owner, law enforcement, or a lienholder are governed by applicable Alberta law.
